Store Helper - Phillipsburg, NJ
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Greenhouse Merchandiser to maintain the appearance, health, and organization of plants and related merchandise in a retail greenhouse environment. This role focuses on plant care, product presentation, and supporting a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, stock, and merchandise live plants and greenhouse products according to company standards
- Water, prune, deadhead, and monitor plant health daily
- Rotate inventory and remove unsellable or damaged product
- Follow planograms and seasonal layouts to ensure attractive displays
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of greenhouse and sales areas
- Assist with signage, pricing, and promotional setups
- Provide basic plant care guidance to customers when needed
- Work safely while lifting, moving carts, and handling equipment
- Communicate inventory or quality concerns to supervisors
- Ability to work in a greenhouse environment (heat, humidity, outdoor conditions)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Dependable with ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Previous retail, merchandising, or plant care experience preferred but not required
- Flexible availability, including weekends and peak seasonal hours
- Basic plant knowledge or willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good visual merchandising skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, seasonal environment

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
