Key responsibilities- Use a variety of sources to prepare statements and reports
- Code documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes
- Handle Accounts Receivable tasks: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance
- Support accounts payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
- Carry out other related duties and work on special projects as assigned
- Perform general accounting tasks, such as G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other ad hoc projects
- Add financial information to journals and ledgers
- Reconcile discrepancies, and prepare correction documents as needed, by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts - AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
- Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request
- Familiar with Spreadsheet and ERP system
- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience desired
- Knowledge of Administrative Assistance
- Strong familiarity with communication
