- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
- Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week accepted
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: As scheduled
- Floating: Required within specialty and to lower-acuity areas as needed
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920 - $2,020
- Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Telemetry nursing experience strongly preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- CPI certification required during onboarding
- Experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) preferred
- Comfort working night shifts and floating within scope
- Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced acute care setting
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for telemetry patients with cardiac and medical conditions
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
- Care for patients with diagnoses such as dysrhythmias, ACS, CHF, respiratory failure, pneumonia, and stroke
- Administer treatments and therapies within RN scope, including IV management and blood product administration
- Support patients requiring oxygen therapy, non-invasive airway management, and cardiac monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and communicate effectively during handoff and throughout the shift
- Adapt to floating assignments within specialty and lower-acuity areas when needed
- Deliver compassionate care while maintaining a calm, professional presence on nights and weekends
