Minimum Requirements- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Active Nevada state SLP license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start of assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care settings preferred.
- Proficiency in dysphagia assessment and treatment, including modified barium swallow or clinical bedside swallow evaluations preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation in a SNF environment preferred.
