Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager will:
- Support Project Managers throughout all phases of construction projects
- Assist with project scheduling, coordination, and day-to-day project administration
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and consultants
- Assist with contract administration and procurement activities
- Track project budgets, commitments, and cost reports
- Help manage permitting, inspections, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to the project team
- Assist with project buyout and subcontractor management
- Support Quality Assurance and Quality Control initiatives
- Maintain accurate project records and construction software databases
- Assist with project closeout documentation and turnover procedures

The Successful Applicant
The successful Assistant Project Manager will have:
- 1-5 years of construction experience with a General Contractor, Construction Manager, or related construction company
- Commercial construction experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- Experience with RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and construction coordination
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Desire to advance into a Project Manager role
