Principal, Engineering Project Management- Level 6 with Security Clearance
- 22 Line of Business Engineering (LoBE) team.
Specifically this position is accountable and responsible for cost, schedule, & performance of the F-22 software development contract.
The Software Release Pipeline Engineering Project Manager leads end-to-end planning, execution, and continuous improvement of release-pipeline initiatives that enable rapid, reliable, and repeatable software delivery across multiple product lines.
Acting as the nexus between cross-functional engineering teams, product owners, suppliers, and senior leadership, the EPM ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and compliance standards.This role also mentors junior project managers, establishes best-in-class processes, and continuously improves project execution across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:- Direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of F-22 engineering projects.
- Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
- Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project staff according to requirements.
- Coordinates the planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects with internal and external partners and customers.
- Responsible for data analytic efforts and generating program metrics.

Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of project/program management in software development or DevOps environments
- Strong understanding of software build, test, and deployment pipelines
- Final SECRET security clearance
- Experience with EVMS and/or CAM
- Proven delivery of large-scale CI/CD or release-automation in
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with version control (Git) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
