About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and certified Project Manager to join our growing team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with a strong foundation in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Human Subjects Protection (HSP) compliance.

This role requires someone who can seamlessly bridge technical project execution with regulatory and ethical data practices.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives
Manage project timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies
Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership
Ensure all data collection and research-related activities comply with HSP/IRB requirements and ethical guidelines
Oversee GCP-based infrastructure projects, collaborating closely with engineering and data teams to ensure cloud workloads are delivered on scope and on schedule
Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including charters, status reports, RAID logs, and retrospectives
Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, and stakeholder review meetings
Identify process improvement opportunities and drive operational efficiencies across project workflows

Ensure data governance, privacy, and compliance standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle

Required Qualifications
5+ years of project management experience, preferably in tech, data, or research-driven environments
Active Google Cloud Professional certification (GCP) e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Architect, GCP Professional Data Engineer, or equivalent
Active Human Subjects Protection (HSP) certification CITI Program or equivalent
Demonstrated experience managing projects involving human data collection, research operations, or AI/ML data pipelines
Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, (link removed), or MS Project
Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior stakeholders

Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment across multiple time zones

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with IRB protocols, consent frameworks, or GDPR/CCPA compliance
Familiarity with data annotation, labeling, or AI training data workflows
Experience supporting distributed or offshore teams

Background in healthcare, life sciences, or AI/ML research environments
