- Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,890 – $1,990
- Employment Type: Travel (Travel Nurse, Contract RN)
- Unit: Orthopedic / Medical-Surgical / Telemetry — ideal for orthopedic nurses and med-surg RNs with telemetry experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
- At least 1 year of recent experience in orthopedic, medical-surgical, or telemetry nursing (travel nurse experience a plus)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to complete onboarding health requirements: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, 2-Step PPD or IGRA, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement, Drug Screen
- Successful completion of background check and competency testing
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to orthopedic, medical-surgical, and telemetry patients
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement individualized care plans
- Provide post-operative care and patient education on mobility, wound care, pain management, and recovery after orthopedic procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including surgeons, physical therapy, and case management, to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Participate in unit initiatives, quality improvement activities, and safe patient handling practices
- Work in a supportive, modern hospital setting with experienced orthopedic and med-surg teams
- Gain hands-on experience caring for surgical orthopedic patients and telemetry cases
