Position Highlights: Location: Near Wilton, ND Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: General Surgery Facility Setting: Inpatient, Level II Trauma Center Shift: 24-hour on-call shifts Dates: Dec 23 (7 am) ??? Dec 27 (7 am) Weekend and holiday coverage required Duties & Responsibilities: Manage general surgery cases including appendectomies, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, bowel obstructions, and trauma cases.
Provide emergency call coverage. Support from 1st assists available for OR procedures. Respond to trauma cases within a timely manner. Required Qualifications: Board Certified in General Surgery (required) Active North Dakota medical license or eligibility via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) ACLS, BLS, and ATLS certifications (required) Clean malpractice and background records (preferred) Previous experience working in trauma settings Must be available for the scheduled dates COVID vaccination required Credentialing Requirements: 60-day credentialing process Must provide case logs from the last 2 years Up-to-date CV including locums experience Clean sex offender background check required Why This Opportunity?
