CT/X-Ray Technologist – Contract Opportunity (Night Shift)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This role involves working with advanced imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and delivering excellent patient care while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in imaging procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform CT scans and radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols
Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and imaging equipment safely and effectively
Position patients appropriately and ensure use of proper protective equipment
Assist radiologists with routine and interventional procedures
Evaluate image quality and ensure proper labeling and documentation
Administer oral and IV contrast safely and effectively
Maintain accurate patient records in electronic systems
Follow ALARA radiation safety standards
Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate service when needed
Assist with clerical duties, patient transport, and departmental workflow
Support cross-training and collaboration within the imaging department
Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
Current BLS certification (or obtained within 90 days)
Minimum 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Preferred Experience
At least 2 years of CT Technologist experience
Cross-training in additional modalities (MRI, DEXA, Mammography) preferred
Experience with PACS and RIS/HIS systems
Additional Requirements
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility to assist in other modalities, shifts, or duties as needed
Physical ability to perform job-related tasks, including patient handling and equipment operation
