Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an SC or compact RN license and AWHONN Intermediate certification for a 13-week night shift contract.
Details- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Charting via Meditech EMR
- 13-week contract
- Active SC or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Clean background required — no felony history or licensure actions will be considered
- Responsibilities include maternal obstetric care, well newborn care, antepartum triage, postpartum/couplet care, and OR circulator duties for Cesarean sections
- Provides respiratory support and resuscitation, including attendance at high-risk and premature deliveries
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
