Job Details- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)

- Location: Abington, Pennsylvania – Philadelphia area healthcare job
- Unit Setting: High-risk L&D / regional transfer center with Level III NICU support
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,180 - $2,290
- Charting System: Epic
- Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
- Holiday Requirement: At least one holiday during the assignment
- Call: None
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license or compact RN eligibility, as applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- AWHONN Intermediate or Beginner certification required
- BSN preferred or required per unit expectations
- Experience with high-risk obstetrics, fetal monitoring, triage, and labor support strongly preferred
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume obstetric and women’s health environment
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Provide safe, compassionate care for laboring, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients
- Support vaginal deliveries, C-sections, triage assessments, and postpartum recovery care
- Monitor fetal status and respond promptly to changes in maternal or fetal condition
- Assist with high-risk procedures and obstetric emergencies as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, NICU, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic and follow unit protocols
- Promote patient education, comfort, and family-centered care throughout the birth experience
- Work in a well-connected suburban Philadelphia healthcare location with easy access to city amenities
