Minimum Qualifications- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active California PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required prior to start.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or post-acute care setting required by client.
- Experience with therapeutic exercise, functional mobility training, transfers, gait training, and documentation in an electronic medical record system.
- Ability to work with medically complex and geriatric populations, including fall-risk management and cognitive impairment strategies.
- Current TB screening and immunization records as required by facility policy.
- Preferred: Experience with restorative nursing programs, wound care collaboration, or use of standard assistive devices (Hoyer lift, gait belt). These are preferred but not required.
