Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Perioperative Surgery – San Dimas, CA 91773
Start Date: May 1, 2026Location: San Dimas, California
Schedule: Day shift, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM. Call coverage required. Two positions available. Travel assignment through August 6, 2026 (97 days).
Highlights:
- Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care across all patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to coordinate patient care throughout the surgical continuum
- Work in Pre-Op, Intra-Op, and Post-Op settings within a busy surgical services department
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain professional nursing standards
- Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process in a dynamic OR environment
- Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours; holiday pay at 1.5x
Requirements:
- Current and valid California RN license
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire; ACLS and PALS (AHA) within 30 days of hire
- Minimum one year of perioperative nursing experience
- Pre-Op and Post-Op experience required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Must be available for call coverage
