Okie Staffing is currently hiring experienced Cooks to support high-volume hospitality clients, including events, catering, and resort-style environments. If you take pride in quality food, fast-paced kitchens, and being part of a strong team—this is a great opportunity.

• Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and attention to detail
• Assist with food production for restaurants, catering, and events
• Follow recipes, prep sheets, and portion standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
• Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO)
• Support team members and communicate effectively during service
• Uphold food safety and workplace safety standards

Requirements

• Culinary training or trade certification preferred
• ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, supervisors, and team members
• Minimum of 3 years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen
• Strong knowledge of food safety, handling, and sanitation standards
• Experience in high-volume or hospitality environments preferred
• Background in culinary competitions or advanced training is a plus

• Black shirt
• Non-slip shoes (recommended)
