- Provides services for education and training of students in operational planning in a joint/maritime command center.
- Provides instruction in the doctrine, missions, functions, tasks and processes that take place within a Maritime Operations Center (MOC).
- Performs exercise design, scenario development and the execution of war games at the Operational Level of War, using procedures contained in NWP 5-01, NWP 3-32, NTTP 3-32.1, and JP 3-32.
Requirements Education: Master's Degree in Operations Research, National Security and Strategic Studies, International Relations, or related field, or graduate of Maritime Staff Operators Course.
Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.
Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
