• Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Orientation: Bi-weekly on Tuesdays
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• Setting: Inpatient behavioral health, locked unit

• Active Massachusetts RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required
• Experience caring for mental health patients in a locked inpatient setting
• Ability to safely administer medications using Omnicell
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Handle with Care (HWC) certification preferred; may be completed on site if needed
• BSN preferred
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a trauma-informed approach to care

• Provide direct nursing care to adult behavioral health patients in a secure inpatient psychiatric environment
• Administer medications accurately and safely while maintaining patient safety standards
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to changing needs, and document care in Cerner
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, rehab staff, and the broader interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Support patients with diagnoses such as bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, major depression, substance use disorders, and chronic medical conditions
• Use compassion, professionalism, and sound clinical judgment to help promote positive patient outcomes
• Contribute to a respectful, team-focused environment that supports therapeutic care
