- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of recent med/surg telemetry clinical experience (Med/Surg Tele RN or Telemetry Nurse experience)
- BLS certification required; ACLS or Telemetry certification preferred
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary care
- Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation preferred
- Provide high-quality direct patient care to adult patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding promptly to arrhythmias and changes in patient status
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered; perform nursing procedures per protocol
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions to support safe transitions of care
