• Location: Santa Fe, NM (87505) — Travel nurse position in New Mexico
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: May 25, 2026
• Shift: Days, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (4 x 10-hour shifts per week)
• Employment Type: Travel, Full Time
• Primary Location: PMC, with flexibility to float to Main campus OR as needed

• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room or perioperative/surgical nursing experience
• Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state RN license (RN)
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• ACLS Certification (AHA)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Ability to float between campuses and adapt to varying OR assignments

• Provide routine and complex perioperative nursing care independently as an OR RN
• Use the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of surgical patients
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side effects and therapeutic effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, intraoperative care, and post-op instructions accurately in the medical record
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding procedures, perioperative expectations, and post-operative care
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in a surgical setting
• Delegate tasks and coordinate assignments with surgical techs, circulating staff, and ancillary teams to manage clinical situations
• Remain flexible and available to stay beyond scheduled hours when cases run past block or staffing needs change
