Position Overview

A healthcare facility in Maine is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. This position is ideal for a skilled RN who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered emergency care.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department
• Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care to patients of all ages
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate treatment plans
• Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Utilize strong communication and computer skills in daily workflow
• Adhere to professional nursing standards and patient confidentiality practices

• Active Maine RN License or eligibility for licensure by endorsement required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current BLS Certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a high-acuity environment
