Electrical Control Engineer

Kelly Engineering is recruiting for a Controls Engineer for our growing client in Macon, GA. This client is doubling their production and need to add to the team! As a Controls Engineers you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing our manufacturing processes across multiple production lines.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for manufacturing operations, focusing on controls systems and automation.
• Utilize project management software for project planning and resource management.
• Design, implement, and maintain HMI, servo, and programming systems.
• Manage MES and PLC-based hardware/software, with experience in various systems.
• Demonstrate proficiency in industrial controls, process controls, and robotics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Develop and implement programming solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Utilize MES for data analysis and process optimization.
• Work closely with automation products, specializing in motion control, servo, and vision systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in high-speed manufacturing, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
• Proficiency in project management software.
• Strong technical knowledge of controls systems and automation.
• Experience with HMI, servo, and programming systems.
• Familiarity with MES and PLC-based hardware/software.
• Demonstrated experience in industrial controls, process controls, and robotics.
• Experience with MES systems.
• Expertise in automation products, including motion control, servo, and vision systems.
