Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Texas state Physical Therapy license required to begin assignment.
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation hospital settings is required.
- Competency in comprehensive evaluation, development of treatment plans, and functional goal writing.
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, perform timely equipment trialing and patient/family education.
- Experience with documentation including daily notes, letters of medical necessity, discharge documentation, and charge entry in accordance with hospital and payer guidelines.
- Demonstrated safe patient handling practices and awareness of workplace safety protocols.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required prior to start.
- Must maintain professional licensure and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements.
- Preferred: experience supervising or precepting students and participating in performance improvement initiatives.

- Caseload: Inpatient rehabilitation patients with interdisciplinary team collaboration.
- Clinical duties include comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment planning, equipment trialing, patient and family education, and documentation.
- May be asked to provide coverage and adapt caseload as departmental needs require.
