Job Title: DSP Caregiver**

**Job Overview:**

As a vital member of our caregiving team, the DSP Caregiver will offer personalized care, foster a positive and encouraging environment, and help individuals achieve their personal goals.

• Provide direct care and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and dignity.
• Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, medication administration, and household tasks.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, focusing on the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
• Support individuals in participating in community activities, promoting social interaction and inclusion.
• Encourage individuals to achieve their personal goals by providing guidance, motivation, and skill-building opportunities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for individuals in care.
• Document all care provided and communicate any changes in individuals' conditions or behaviors to the relevant team members.
• Attend training sessions and professional development workshops to stay informed about best practices in caregiving and support services.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a caregiving or direct support role preferred, but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with individuals of varied backgrounds.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor, with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is an advantage.
