Job Summary
The CT Technologist position is located in en_US. This role involves performing diagnostic computed tomography (CT) procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging, and adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines. The position requires proficiency in radiologic technology, equipment calibration, and patient care throughout the imaging process.
Job Details- Position: CT Technologist en_US
- Shift: Rotating, overnight from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m., Monday through Friday, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of a JCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology, NYS License (L.R.T), ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT, BLS certification, at least 1 year of CT experience
- Preferred Qualifications: N/A
- responsibilities include: performing CT procedures according to prescribed protocols, conducting daily quality control checks on equipment, injecting patients with radiopharmaceuticals following physician orders, maintaining documentation logs, verifying activity levels of radiopharmaceuticals, and following radiation safety guidelines to comply with ALARA principles
- Additional information: The position may also require x-ray work during overnight shifts and involves radiopharmaceutical handling, documentation, and verification processes.
