Seeking a Senior Underwriter to develop and manage a diverse and profitable book of Complex Property business.
Complex Commercial Property Including Contractors' Equipment, Mobile Machinery & Specialty Trucks risks such as:
*** Earthmoving Equipment*** Crawler Tread Vehicles
*** Diggers, Scrapers, Graders & Rollers
*** Concrete Mixers
*** Bulldozers, Backhoes & Other Earth Movers
*** Cranes - Mobile and Tower Cranes
*** Large Power Shovels
*** Dump trucks
*** Forklifts
*** Boom Trucks
*** Mobile and Tower Cranes
*** Concrete Mixers & Pump Trucks
*** Ambulances and Fire trucks
*** Explosive Ordnance Disposal EOD Vehicles
*** Refrigerated Trailers
*** Waste, Refuse & Garbage trucks
*** Tow Trucks
*** Armored Trucks
*** Logging Equipment
*** Hazardous Material Handling Vehicles
*** Derricks and Draglines
*** Specialty Mobile equipment
*** Mobile Drills
*** Bobtail
Activities:
*** Develop, implement, and control policy prices.
*** Analyze property catastrophe exposures to establish risk selection and pricing methodologies & standards.
*** Stay abreast of competitor products, strategies, and capabilities.
*** Collaborate with Claims, Loss Control, Actuarial, IT, Operations, and Finance departments to meet financial goals.
*** Build and develop profitable relationships with brokers.
Requirements:
*** Bachelors degree.
*** 5+ years of Commercial Property and Inland Marine underwriting experience.
*** Familiarity with layered & ground up programs and relevant pricing methodologies.
*** Knowledge of Property Catastrophe Exposures.
*** Hands on knowledge of Broker Manuscript forms.
