- Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,440 - $2,620
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mammography/Ultrasound Technologist, breast imaging, or related medical imaging role
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with Mammography (M) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; current CPR certification required
- Maintain 24 CEU credits per A.R.R.T. guidelines every two years
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Experience in healthcare or breast imaging preferred (MQSA and ACR guidelines familiarity a plus)
- Ability to obtain necessary computer/system skills within 90 days
- Perform breast imaging procedures including screening and diagnostic mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound, and assist with breast ultrasound biopsy
- Follow MQSA and ACR standards for mammography and breast ultrasound to ensure regulatory compliance
- Demonstrate knowledge of breast anatomy, pathological conditions, and safe radiation practices
- Operate mammography, stereotactic, and ultrasound equipment; perform procedures requiring contrast agents and sterile technique when indicated
- Conduct and document routine quality control and equipment safety checks to maintain image quality and patient safety
- Review patient requisitions for accuracy, obtain relevant clinical history, and verify patient identity
- Communicate effectively with patients—provide education, answer questions, and ensure comfort during imaging procedures
- Present completed examinations and pertinent clinical information to radiologists and multidisciplinary care teams
- Schedule and coordinate breast imaging appointments to support continuity of care and department efficiency
- Support departmental workflow, assist with supply inventory, and follow cost-effective practices
- Promote breast health education, participate in community or organizational events, and assist with orientation of new staff
- Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards at all times
