Job Description

The Lead Superintendent is responsible for:

  • Supervising all sitework operations, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
  • Coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
  • Monitoring the progress of sitework activities and reporting updates to the project management team.
  • Managing and resolving any on-site challenges or conflicts efficiently.
  • Inspecting and approving completed work to ensure quality and compliance with project plans.
  • Maintaining accurate records of site activities, including labor, materials, and equipment usage.
  • Assisting in planning and scheduling resources to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant

The right candidate will have:

  • Strong knowledge of sitework construction processes and techniques within the property industry.
  • Must have project experience within sitework, excavation, civil, utilities, etc.
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate teams effectively on construction projects.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle on-site challenges with confidence.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to maintain project timelines and liaise with stakeholders.
  • A track record of delivering high-quality construction projects within budget and on schedule.
