Office Manager (Manufacturing) ⚙️
We are seeking a sharp, highly organized, and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our manufacturing team! This isn't just a "sit-at-the-desk" job; you will be the vital link between our front office and our production floor, ensuring orders flow seamlessly from entry to shipment.
Schedule & Compensation ⏰- Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Lunch Break: Enjoy a 45-minute break from 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM
- Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour (Starting pay based on experience)
- Status: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities ️ You will be the "air traffic controller" of our production cycle:
- Order Management: Accurately inputting customer orders into Sage and getting them into the hands of our production team.
- Workflow Coordination: Receiving finished order slips back from the plant and marking them as "Finished/Ready for Shipment."
- Plant Interaction: You won't just be behind a screen! You will head out into the plant several times a day to interact with production employees and track order progress.
- Problem Solving: Using "outside the box" thinking to resolve scheduling hiccups or administrative challenges.
- Software Proficiency: * Must have Sage (Peachtree) experience. (Candidates with strong QuickBooks experience will be considered but must be ready to work primarily in Sage).
- Expert-level use of Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Attention to Detail: You must be "very" detail-oriented to ensure order accuracy and inventory tracking.
- Physical Requirements: Must be comfortable walking long distances throughout the manufacturing plant daily.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with both executive staff and plant personnel. ️
- Stable Schedule: No weekends and a consistent daytime shift.
- Dynamic Environment: A perfect mix of office administration and active plant floor involvement.
