Job Description
Key Responsibilities- Assist Project Managers with all phases of construction project execution.
- Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement activities.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Monitor project costs, track budgets, and assist with financial reporting.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain meeting minutes and action items.
- Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and final documentation.
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Help identify and resolve project challenges before they impact schedule or budget.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, client requirements, and company procedures.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Building and Construction Assistant Project Manager should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- 1-4 years of experience in construction project management, project engineering, or a related role.
- Understanding of construction processes, project scheduling, and cost control.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or other construction management software is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of contract administration and construction documentation is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Highly detail-oriented and proactive.
