Position Overview:Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Nurse Educator for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs, competencies, and clinical orientations for ED and ICU staff
- Lead onboarding, transition-to-practice programs, and mentorship for new hires and new graduates
- Serve as a clinical resource promoting evidence-based practice and advanced critical care protocols
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and Department of Health standards through accurate education documentation
- Partner with nursing leadership to identify knowledge gaps and implement targeted training interventions
- Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes
- Master’s Degree in Nursing Education (MSN-Ed) required
- Minimum 2 years of Clinical Nurse Educator experience in acute care hospital setting required
- Strong clinical background in ED and/or ICU nursing
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of New York
- BLS Certification required
- Strong presentation, instructional design, and communication skills required
