Job Description
Our Superintendent will:
- Oversee daily field operations to ensure projects are completed on schedule and aligned with retail opening timelines
- Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor scopes to ensure accurate and efficient execution
- Develop and manage site logistics, sequencing, and short-term schedules to maintain project flow
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to brand standards
- Maintain detailed daily reports, weekly schedules, and progress tracking
- Drive project schedules in fast-paced environments, including night work and accelerated timelines when required
- Work closely with Project Managers, clients, and store representatives to ensure alignment and communication
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, site protocols, and proper job site organization
- Proactively identify and resolve field issues to prevent delays and maintain schedule integrity

The Successful Applicant
The ideal Superintendent will:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor, preferably within retail or commercial interiors construction
- Experience delivering tenant improvements, retail build-outs, or rollout programs preferred
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
- Ability to manage multiple trades in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Experience working on projects with strict turnover deadlines (store openings) is highly valued
- OSHA certification preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and client interactions
- Working knowledge of construction systems, materials, and field operations
