- Assignment Duration: 12 weeks (April 26, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
- Shift: Day shift, 8-hour days (possible shifts: 07:00-15:30, 07:30-16:00, or 08:00-16:30)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Call Requirement: One weekend per month
- Employment Type: Travel / Contract Physical Therapy Job
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in an inpatient setting
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant licensure in the state of California (CA PTA license)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Compliance with onboarding requirements (including health screenings and background checks)
- Preferred: experience with orthopedic and/or neurological inpatient rehabilitation cases
- Assist in the delivery of inpatient physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility, strength, and function
- Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record and communicate updates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Participate in patient education, family training, and discharge planning to support safe transitions of care
- Maintain a safe, professional, and supportive environment for patients and staff
- Fulfill scheduled weekend call requirements as assigned
