Job Details- Location: Rochester, NY 14642 (Rochester, New York)
- Role: CT Technologist / Computed Tomography Technologist / CT Tech
- Setting: Hospital – Level 1 Trauma Center (hospital imaging job)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (5/11/2026 – 8/8/2026)
- Shift: Friday – Sunday, 7:00pm – 7:30am (12-hour overnight shifts; weekend overnight)
- On-Call: 2–3 call shifts per month
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,540 – $2,730 (travel CT technologist pay)
- Completion of formal training in an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT
- Current NYS CT Technologist license required (must obtain prior to start)
- Injection therapy / IV contrast certification noted on NYS license (or willingness to complete during orientation)
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience; Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
- Experience with Siemens CT scanners (minimum 6 months preferred)
- Epic (EPIC) electronic health record experience highly desired
- Telemetry experience required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; patient-focused and compassionate; team player
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating CT scans, following department and hospital policies for patient safety
- Perform high-quality diagnostic CT exams, including contrast-enhanced studies and IV contrast administration when indicated
- Coordinate with emergency physicians, trauma teams, and radiologists to support timely imaging in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Prepare patients for CT scans: explain procedures, assess contraindications, and ensure patient comfort and safety
- Insert IVs/contrast lines as necessary for imaging studies
- Position patients appropriately and assist with safe transfer and handling for patients with limited mobility
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in EPIC; ensure images are correctly identified and transmitted to PACS
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant scanning environment; follow infection control and radiation safety protocols
- Participate in on-call, holiday, and weekend overnight coverage as required for the travel assignment
