Position Biomedical Technician / Clinical Engineering Technician
Location Seattle, WA
Shift 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Duration 13-52 Weeks Contract

Position Summary:
  • We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Technician to join our Clinical Engineering / Biomed Department in a teaching/Magnet facility environment.
  • This is an onsite role responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of biomedical equipment to support safe and efficient patient care.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, hospital-based biomedical experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff and engineering teams. Weekend work and floating within the hospital may be required as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent from a 2-year college/technical school
  • Minimum 5 years of biomedical technician experience in a hospital setting
  • Strong knowledge of medical equipment, electronics, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and service documentation
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
Preferred Qualifications:
  • OR/Surgery equipment experience (required for early shift role)
  • Experience with complex biomedical systems and life-support equipment
  • Advanced troubleshooting and component-level repair experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot biomedical equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
  • Work with schematics, blueprints, and service documentation
  • Support life-support and clinical/OR equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and engineering teams
