Responsibilities

• Safe Driving: Operate a Class A vehicle safely and professionally in all weather conditions.
• Vehicle Inspections: Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is road-ready.
• On-Time Delivery: Follow planned routes to ensure freight is picked up and delivered on schedule.
• Load Security: Check that cargo is properly loaded and secured before hitting the road.
• Log Management: Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and rest periods using the in-cab ELD system.
• Communication: Stay in touch with dispatch regarding your status, any delays, or mechanical issues.
• Paperwork: Handle basic delivery documents (Bills of Lading) and ensure customer signatures are collected.
