Senior Electromechanical Design Engineer
We are actively pushing the frontier with innovations like battery-powered mobile shredding units, solar-powered solutions, and machines capable of destroying advanced media down to 2mm particles—all while exceeding global compliance standards.
This isn't a maintenance role. You will own the full design lifecycle on mission-critical hardware that sits at the intersection of physical security, precision engineering, and environmental sustainability. If you want your engineering work to genuinely matter and desire to grow alongside a forward-thinking team, this is your next career step.
Qualifications & Skills- Experience: 10+ years of dedicated electromechanical product design experience with end-to-end product ownership.
- CAD Expertise: 5+ years of proficiency with SolidWorks, including advanced 3D modeling, surfacing, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
- Technical Engineering: Deep command of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), tolerance stack-up analysis, and diverse manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, and plastics.
- System Integration: Practical familiarity with electrical system integration, including motors, sensors, and wiring harnesses.
- Data & Change Management: Direct experience working within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and formal change control workflows.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Preferred Attributes: A professional background in data destruction equipment, security hardware, or ruggedized industrial devices is highly valued. Experience designing for compliance with DIN 66399, NIST 800-88, or hands-on prototyping and testing is highly desirable.
- Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Retirement: 401(k) plan options to secure your financial future.
- Time Off: 3 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) plus 5 paid holidays.
- Purpose-Driven Culture: The chance to innovate high-impact, green-tech security products trusted by data centers, government agencies, and enterprises worldwide.
