- Shift Duration: 12-hour days
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,980 - $2,080
- Schedule Note: Must be willing to work all shift times, including days, nights, and mids as needed
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend based on unit needs
- EHR: EPIC
- Current RN license and BLS certification
- 2+ years of cardiac, telemetry, or PCU nursing experience preferred
- At least 1 year of recent registered nurse experience required
- Cardiac Cath experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced cardiac geriatric setting
- Must have complete and clear pre-employment screenings prior to start
- Must be willing to work all shift times as needed
- Positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset
- Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care for cardiac and telemetry patients in a Progressive Care Unit
- Monitor patients with conditions such as chest pain, MI, open heart recovery, Watchman, TAVR, post-op cardiac cath, and post-op pacer care
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain safe and effective patient ratios in a busy PCU nursing environment
- Use clinical judgment to recognize changes in condition and respond promptly
- Document accurately in EPIC and support smooth communication across the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to promote excellent patient outcomes
