Responsibilities for Field Reimbursement Manager include but are not limited to:

  • Act as a strategic reimbursement advisor and primary point of contact for healthcare providers, identifying and resolving complex reimbursement and access barriers.
  • Lead the resolution of high-priority reimbursement cases, including:
  • Ensure timely patient access to prescribed therapies through effective case management and stakeholder coordination.
  • Interpret Medicare and commercial insurance coverage policies and communicate actionable reimbursement guidance to providers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, office staff, manufacturer partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Deliver customized payer insights and reimbursement education based on evolving healthcare policies and access trends.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person meetings, presentations, and educational programs to enhance provider understanding and adoption of therapies.
  • Plan and facilitate manufacturer-sponsored training sessions, regional educational forums, and site engagements.
  • Manage assigned territory activities and account initiatives to achieve client objectives and performance metrics.
  • Support territory planning and field-based stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Coordinate account-level projects while ensuring alignment with program milestones, compliance requirements, and service expectations.
  • Operate independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Partner with internal hub operations, analytics teams, client services, and manufacturer stakeholders to optimize program performance.
  • Provide reimbursement expertise and field insights to support continuous process improvement.
  • Collaborate across departments to enhance provider satisfaction and patient experience.
  • Accurately document all field activities and customer interactions within the FRM CRM system.
  • Maintain data integrity and provide ongoing status updates, reimbursement reports, and benefit investigation outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all company, client, and regulatory requirements.

Candidates for Field Reimbursement Manager must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • Minimum 8 years of healthcare reimbursement experience.
  • Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy reimbursement models.
  • Experience supporting specialty therapies such as Oncology, Dermatology, Immunology, Rare Disease, or related therapeutic areas.
  • Experience in insurance verification, prior authorizations, claims adjudication, reimbursement support, physician offices, clinics, or specialty pharmacy environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of Medicare and Commercial payer coverage policies.
  • Entry-level project management experience required.
  • Proven customer service and provider-facing experience.
  • Experience presenting to healthcare stakeholders and conducting educational programs.

Pay Details: $46.92 to $58.17 per hour
