Job Requirements / Qualifications- Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
- Strong orthopedic surgery experience required (Orthopedic OR Nurse)
- Experience with endoscopy and general surgery cases preferred (Endoscopy RN, General Surgery RN)
- BLS certification (required)
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical cases with emphasis on orthopedics, endoscopy, and general surgery
- Provide safe, patient-centered perioperative care from pre-op through post-op
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control and OR safety standards
- Prepare the operating room, instruments, and supplies for each procedure
- Document perioperative care and patient information accurately and promptly
- Participate in on-call or holiday coverage if needed (rare)
- Clinical excellence in the operating room and commitment to patient safety
- Team-oriented perioperative nurses who communicate effectively
