Shifts: Days & Nights Available (Rotating Weekends)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for adult patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient conditions and document changes accurately
• Maintain and update patient medical records
• Review and document diagnostic test results
• Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and hospital policies

Required Qualifications:

• Active Florida RN license or compact license (FL license required within 90 days)
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Acute care experience required (recent LTAC-only experience not accepted)
• BLS certification (AHA) required prior to start or within 30 days
