RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment.$750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
- Full-time night position in emergency department
- Coordinate and implement individualized patient care plans using nursing process
- Practice within scope, standards, policies, values, and mission of the organization
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessment to optimize outcomes
- Requires prioritization and critical thinking skills with decisive judgment
- Work with minimal supervision in fast-paced environment
- Comply with triage, treatment, evaluation, and documentation guidelines
- Use evidence-based practices to collaborate with healthcare team
- Coordinate patient care including transfer, discharge, referral, and support needs
- Identify barriers to effective communication based on various considerations
- Evaluate learning needs and provide patient/family education
- Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel
- May precept student nurses and new hires
- Practice according to ANA Code of Ethics and Colorado State Nurse Practice Act
- Current Colorado RN license or Compact license required
- Current BLS certification required (or obtain within 90 days)
- Current ACLS certification required (or obtain within 6 months)
- Current PALS or ENPC certification required (or obtain within 1 year)
- Current TNCC certification required (or obtain within 1 year)
- Current STABLE certification required (or obtain within 1 year)
- Current NRP certification required (or obtain within 1 year)
- Two years hospital nursing experience preferred
- One year emergency department or critical care nursing experience preferred
- Adhere to organizational attire and dress code policies
