- Job Title: Neurointerventional Radiologic Technologist / Interventional Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)

- Shift: Day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, 4x10-hour shifts per week
- On Call: Every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist / Travel Radiology
- Minimum 1 year of neurointerventional radiology or interventional radiology (IR) experience
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist license
- ARRT(R) certification required
- BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)
- Proven technical expertise in IR and neurointerventional procedures
- Strong attention to detail, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
- English proficiency (read, write, speak)
- Perform routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures under physician direction in Angio Interventional Radiology and Neuro IR services
- Provide technical support for IR and neurointerventional procedures including discograms, aspirations, therapeutic injections, angiography, ablations, and embolizations
- Operate advanced imaging equipment (angiography suites, fluoroscopy systems) using established protocols and radiation safety practices
- Ensure proper radiation safety and patient safety standards during neurointerventional procedures
- Assist with sterile and non-sterile clinical procedures and maintain aseptic technique
- Instruct students and residents and perform preceptor duties as needed to support clinical education
- Perform quality assurance checks on imaging equipment and maintain supply inventory for IR/Neuro IR services
- Utilize hospital information systems for procedure scheduling, documentation, and coding
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
- Participate in continuous learning through lectures, seminars, and professional development to stay current in interventional radiology and neurointerventional techniques
