Job Description:
The Med Surg Float Pool nurse provides comprehensive patient care across multiple medical-surgical units, adapting quickly to varying patient populations and unit workflows. Nurses are expected to function independently, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and uphold all hospital policies and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care across multiple Medical-Surgical units.
- Adapt quickly to varying patient populations and unit workflows.
- Function independently while demonstrating strong clinical judgment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience.
- BLS, NIHHS certifications required (ACLS and TNCC preferred).
- Strong EPIC proficiency required.
- Must be comfortable floating between multiple units.
