This Alabama-based company is a leading General Contractor/Construction Manager established more than 10 years ago. They are looking for a talented Electrical Professional to join their team who can successfully lead in-house apprentices and journeymen, and provide pivotal insight to the company leadership with regards to the electrical scope.

The projects you will oversee are innovative, pre-fabricated MEP systems installed onsite. While the company primarily focuses within the Healthcare market, they also have a Commercial portfolio consisting of schools, offices, and restaurants.

Job Description
  • Coordinate and manage daily field operational objectives, timelines, and goals.
  • Monitor the overall progress of a project and work site, review processes and practices within teams to ensure consistency, efficiency and quality of delivery.
  • Participate in the monitoring of the project schedule and budget and work with Senior Superintendents to maintain and update.
  • Manage the safety of a job site by abiding to all OSHA and company regulations and best practices
  • Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications. Manage/conduct Electrical pre-Installation meetings.
  • Verify and document that all materials installed for the project are accurate
  • Act as a liaison between the scope managers and company stakeholders
  • Assist with planning of work in relation to phased work and/or flow of work for the project as it relates to electrical systems
  • Assist with reviewing cost of work related to RFI's and change orders for Electrical work
  • Travel to sites as needed to ensure successful project execution

The Successful Applicant
  • 10+ years of experience in a dedicated electrical construction capacity
  • Experience on ground-up healthcare projects is preferred
  • Ability to work with software such as ProCore
  • OSHA Certification required
  • Electrical certifications required
  • Desire to lead others is required
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Willing to learn & grow within the company
