Referrals Coordinator

We are a wonderful organization seeking a referral coordinator to manage all incoming referrals for our specialty practice.

The duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Managing all incoming referrals from primary care physicians and other specialty practices
• Scheduling appointments for eight physicians, three physician’s assistants, one nurse practitioner, and four audiologists.
• Clerical duties: faxing, printing, scheduling appointments

Qualifications include:

• Prior experience working in a medical office is required
• Must have excellent phone etiquette, be organized, able to multitask and prioritize while handling a high volume of calls
• Must have a pleasant voice and an outgoing personality
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must have attention to detail
• Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) is preferred
• Computer skills are required
