Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Montana, requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience and an active MT or compact RN license.
Details- Full-time position in a hospital Med/Surg unit
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- Uses Epic for charting
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during a regularly scheduled shift may be required
- Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses
- Minimum education: ASN from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
- Current AHA BLS required; ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
- At least 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
- Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
- All certifications must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to the assignment start date
