JB108 - Full-Time Butler- North Miami, FL + Beverly Hills, CA

Overview:

A private family with residences in Miami Beach, Florida and Beverly Hills, California is seeking a polished, experienced butler to manage the day to day running of their household. This is a relatively small household rather than a large estate, so the role is hands on and well suited to someone who enjoys being involved in every part of the home.

The butler will coordinate and oversee the household staff, including housekeepers, and will travel with the family as they split their time between Miami Beach and Beverly Hills. Schedule and hours per week are to be determined with at least 40 hours per week minimum guarenteed.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day to day operations of the household and represent the family with professionalism and discretion
• Complete daily walk throughs of the home and monitor the property
• Understand and manage household technology, including smart home and computer systems
• Manage and schedule household staff to ensure adequate coverage
• Oversee and assist the housekeeping staff as needed
• Maintain the principal wardrobe, including ironing and steaming, repairs, dry cleaning, and closet organization
• Assist with packing for trips and coordinate travel logistics
• Set the table, serve meals, snacks, and beverages, and perform wait service
• Maintain plants and floral arrangements throughout the home
• Assist in coordinating social functions and events, and oversee caterers and staffing for parties
• Manage inventories of china, crystal, silver, flatware, table linens, and bar and glassware
• Drive the principals when needed
• Handle phones, messages, doors, and deliveries, and receive guests with courtesy and efficiency
• Be available for emergencies, which may at times require travel at short notice

Qualifications:

• Professional experience in butler, household management, or private service roles
• A hospitality background or experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Leadership qualities
• A polished, discreet, and service minded approach

Requirements:

• Travel between Miami Beach and Beverly Hills with the family is required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Legal to work in the US
• US Passport
