Job Summary:
A Nuclear Medicine Technologist position is available in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. The technologist will utilize knowledge of Nuclear Medicine instrumentation, radiation safety practices, patient care, and radiopharmacy to ensure accurate diagnostics and patient safety.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience; pertinent skills and work history documented within the past year; current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification; active ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB certification (or equivalent).
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include injecting and administering radiopharmaceuticals, calculating activity concentrations, positioning patients, operating all Nuclear Medicine instrumentation devices, and applying radiation safety regulations diligently. The candidate must be adept with protocols and procedures related to Nuclear Medicine, including quality control and radiation safety practices.
