Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Medical Assistant to support a busy multi-specialty practice. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers with both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality patient care.

• Day Shift: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• 5x8-hour shifts per week

• Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure proper sterilization of equipment
• Perform basic clinical tasks such as injections, EKGs, and specimen collection (as applicable)
• Manage patient intake, scheduling, and follow-up appointments
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Handle administrative duties including phone calls, charting, and coordination of care
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or outpatient setting
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with EMR systems

• Experience in a multi-specialty practice
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred
• Experience with EKG, phlebotomy, and injections
