Sharepoint Administrator
Overview
We are seeking an expert-level SharePoint professional with extensive experience in on-premises SharePoint and SharePoint Online (SPO) to lead and execute a large-scale migration to the cloud. This role requires strong technical expertise, planning capability, and stakeholder collaboration.This is a hybrid position (on-site Tuesday-Thursday)
Experience Requirements- 8-10+ years of hands-on SharePoint experience
- Strong background in SharePoint on-premises, ideally with direct experience migrating to SharePoint Online
- Proven ability to lead both planning and execution phases of SharePoint migrations
Core Technical Expertise
SharePoint Core Skills- SharePoint Online (SPO) architecture and administration
- SharePoint Modern Experience (modern pages, web parts, site templates)
- Migration from SharePoint on-premises (Subscription Edition) to SPO
- Configuration of hub sites, communication sites, and team sites
- Permissions management, governance, and security model design
- Hands-on experience with ShareGate Migration Tool
- Content inventory, assessment, and migration planning
- Data mapping, restructuring, and post-migration validation
- Troubleshooting migration issues and performance optimization
- Converting SharePoint Designer workflows to Power Automate
- Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) for business solutions
- Site structure design (taxonomy, metadata, and navigation)
- Content classification and governance strategy
- Search optimization
- User-centric navigation and content hierarchy design
- Content auditing and cleanup
- File and folder restructuring with metadata tagging
- Version control and document lifecycle management
- Ensuring compliance with governance and retention policies
- SharePoint Modern UI customization (themes, layouts, templates)
- Page design focused on usability and accessibility
- Branding alignment (colors, fonts, and corporate identity)
- Basic HTML/CSS/SPFx knowledge (nice-to-have)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Excellent documentation and knowledge transfer abilities
- Experience with Agile or iterative delivery models

This is a Contract position based out of Monona, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
